I've had a few people asking about the specs on my new gaming machine, so here they are! This upgrade should have came about a year ago but thanks to a trusty desk fan I managed to keep my old computer going for this long. The hardware was still running all of the latest games perfectly fine, but it was always overheating and the case was tiny with not much run to expand above 8GB RAM on the motherboard.
I'm so excited for the launch of Mass Effect 3 that I felt like I had to write about it to get it out of my system. I was extremely disappointed when the launch got delayed, as it was planned to launch a few days after my Birthday last October. However, after hearing about the reasons behind it, I didn't care too much.

As many of you may know, Xbox Kinect has been hacked many times for various different reasons on the PC. Now the millions of gamers can play their favourite Wow experiences using body gestures rather than a keyboard. This enhanced use of Kinect on one of the world's most popular online computer games demonstrates exactly how powerful the future of gaming is going to be. Maybe when the "official" PC drivers are released (as Microsoft have hinted at the possibility of this), more top gaming companies will embrace this new way of controlling games. I am buying my own Kinect in the morning and can't wait to start hacking away at different projects for myself and others.
